Does it text or email my clients?
Not yet, and if you want it, ask: a feature a customer asks for gets built, and it is free. Emails to your clients would cost you nothing. Text messages would be a small package, because the SMS providers charge for every message sent, not us. Today TendMate keeps the schedule and the records, and you message your clients the way you already do. For somebody who asked for a price it keeps the message you sent and what they replied.
Can my clients book online?
Not yet. Your work is the same clients coming round again and again, so the calendar fills itself in from how often each one is due, and a new enquiry is written down as a lead with the day to come back to them. If your clients want to book themselves, say so: a calendar you share with your free days, where a client picks one, is the kind of thing we build for the person who asks, at no extra cost. We will work out together what suits your business best.
What does a helper see?
The schedule, the addresses and the notes for the work she is sent to, on her own phone. Not your prices, your expenses or your totals. You choose, screen by screen, what each helper can open.
What if I have more than four helpers?
Contact us. Extra seats are $1 a month each, and we add them for you. Tell us how you run them too: if you want them in teams, or there is something that would make managing them easier, that is exactly the kind of thing we build for you, free.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Everything you need is on the phone already, and it catches up when you are back in range.
I already have a spreadsheet, or another app. What happens to it?

Not because you like it. Because software for signing agents is priced fairly — NotaryGadget is $11.95 a month — and still leaves the schedule to your phone's calendar and the companies to your memory. We are not cheaper by much, and we will not pretend otherwise. What is different is that the signings, the title companies, the drives and the expenses are one app, and a helper can see the day.
So the Thursday signing is in one place, the miles to it are in another, and which company still owes you for March is a question you answer by searching your email. That is the whole problem we are solving.

Why a signing calendar stops telling you the truth

Nearly every calendar we have seen has the same flaw: it holds the appointment and nothing else. The fee was agreed with the scheduler, the scanback deadline is on the confirmation email, the round trip is in the car — and at year end the three of them have to be reassembled from four places.

The fix is small and it changes everything: keep the fee, the deadline and the drive on the signing itself. The fee is a fact, the trips are a fact, and the year's mileage is arithmetic:
Miles claimed = Trips driven × Miles there and back
Weekly standing visits = 7 · Assignment by assignment = no interval
Mark a signing done and its drive counts; mark it paid and it stops being owed. The care home or the branch you visit every Tuesday is placed a week on from the last one, and every other assignment is booked as it comes in.
